But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God. 2 Corinthians 1:9

• We don’t always know why certain things happen.
• Life does not always make sense.
• Even when things don’t make sense, God is still in control.
• God is our source of power, and we receive His help by keeping in touch with Him.
• With this attitude of dependence, problems will drive us to God rather than away from Him.
• As a result we can learn to rely on Him and not on ourselves.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to realize that it is only as I rely on You that I can be confident in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
